Our Story

Iona Hansell Ornaments was established in 2026 by Iona Hansell, the daughter of luthier Roger Hansell.

Iona grew up surrounded with a love and great respect for music and instruments - with many weekends spent sitting around the kitchen table chatting with musicians and makers from around the world.

Being exposed to this at such a young age, Iona developed a great appreciation for the beauty of the stringed instrument world.

Now, Iona is very proud to be able to make and sell these lovely ornaments, from her small studio in the Cotswolds.

Every piece is lovingly and carefully made. We take pride in ensuring each piece is of the highest quality.

Iona enjoys spending time outdoors with her young family and dabbling in pottery.
